ADELAIDE'S Brad and Matt Crouch are set to be the first brothers in 10 years to play together in a Grand Final, and Brad says he is "super confident" that the Crows can claim their first premiership since 1998.

In 2007, Geelong's Gary and Nathan Ablett joined Port Adelaide's Peter and Shaun Burgoyne, and Kane and Chad Cornes as brothers playing in the same Grand Final team. The Abletts' Cats were successful, downing the Power by a record 119 points.

Brad Crouch, 23 and the eldest of the Adelaide pair, said it was extra special to share Grand Final week with his younger brother.

"It's been a long journey for both of us and we never thought this would happen, so it's a great opportunity for both of us," Crouch said.

Crouch said while he had played in junior grand finals before, he hadn't played in one alongside his brother – at least, not on the football field.

"We've played in a couple of cricket grand finals together, but other than that, not at all," he said.

Crouch said it was important to acknowledge that the week was different to any other in football, and to absorb the atmosphere as much as possible.

"With all of the different stuff that goes on during the week, I think you've just got to be able to soak it up and go with it a little bit, because it's not a normal week," he said.

"Normally there's not many supporters at the airport, but there was a heap there and a heap at our hotel, so you definitely notice the atmosphere.

"We went for a walk down Chapel Street last night and you could just see the little bit of buzz around town that there always is and it's just great to be a part of it."

Crouch said he was confident the minor premiers could play the way they have all year, but acknowledged making the Grand Final was an achievement in itself.

"We're still a bloody good team to have made the top two, because it's an 18-team competition and it's really competitive," he said.

"We're pretty confident in our game plan and our structures, so hopefully we can get the job done."

Fellow young star Rory Atkins was also confident that Adelaide could emerge victorious on Saturday, and tipped one of the Crouch brothers to collect the Norm Smith Medal for best on ground.

"The Crouch boys are always around the footy, so they'll go pretty close," Atkins said.
