ADELAIDE'S hamstring curse has continued with superstar small forward Eddie Betts to miss a month with a strain suffered in the heavy loss to Hawthorn.
Betts suffered the injury when attempting to smother an opponent's kick on Saturday night.

Adelaide's head of football, Brett Burton, said Betts had suffered "a slight strain to the tendon".
"Obviously it is disappointing to be missing a player of his ability but it creates an opportunity for others to step up and perform," Burton said.
It is the 31-year-old's second hamstring injury this season after he missed rounds five and six after injuring himself against Collingwood.
Betts' injury is the latest in a long line of hamstring injuries at Adelaide, with skipper Taylor Walker and reigning club champion Matt Crouch among nine players to have suffered the complaint in seven weeks earlier this season.
The flurry of injuries prompted the club to review its training workloads, and elements of strength training were removed from the program entirely.
Meanwhile, ruckman Reilly O'Brien will have shoulder reconstruction surgery this week, ending his season prematurely.
O'Brien has been battling a shoulder problem for weeks but the club said it had reached a point where surgery was the best option.
