ADELAIDE midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen is set to extend his stay at West Lakes, closing in on a new agreement for 2019. 

AFL.com.au understands the 25-year-old midfielder is in the midst of discussions about a fresh deal. 

Playing 15 games this season, Ellis-Yolmen bounced back strongly from a 2017 campaign ruined by a pre-season ACL reconstruction. 

Featuring as an inside midfielder, Ellis-Yolmen averaged 20.5 disposals per game, and was instrumental in the round two win over reigning premiers Richmond with 28 possessions. 

Taken by the Crows at pick 64 in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft, the South Australian has played 29 games. 

The Crows are also set to be boosted by the return of gun midfielder Brad Crouch, who missed the entire 2018 season due to osteitis pubis. 

Ellis-Yolmen's pending extension comes after the club announced star defender Tom Doedee has committed to the club until the end of 2021.
