HAWTHORN defender Teia Miles has been told to explore opportunities at rival clubs as the Hawks weigh up his future at Waverley Park.
Yet to be offered a contract for 2019, Miles is set to field interest across the competition after finishing his season with a premiership for Box Hill on Sunday.

As the Hawks circle trade targets including Greater Western Sydney's Dylan Shiel and Port Adelaide's Chad Wingard, a decision on Miles has been put on hold.
Miles, 21, played eight consecutive games in Hawthorn's barnstorming run to a top-four finish before he was dropped for the qualifying final against Richmond.
The son of former Collingwood, West Coast and Geelong player Geoff, Miles played 12 games following his debut in 2017.
The Barwon Heads product was taken at pick 49 in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft.
