RYAN Burton is the only Hawthorn player who has been put on the trade table as the Hawks scramble to convince Port Adelaide to release contracted forward Chad Wingard.
AFL.com.au revealed on Thursday night the Hawks had offered to include Burton in a deal for Wingard, while their first-round pick, No.15 overall, is also expected to be on the table.

Reports on Friday morning linked Hawks key position player Tim O'Brien and fringe midfielder Kieran Lovell to the Wingard trade, saying the pair had undergone medical tests at Alberton.
However, it's understood Hawthorn has not suggested sending O'Brien or Lovell to Port as part of the deal for Wingard, while the Power have no interest in either player.
After weeks of speculation, Wingard finally requested a trade on Thursday evening, nominating Hawthorn as his preferred new home over his other main suitor, the Western Bulldogs.
Port football manager Chris Davies responded by saying the Power would only release Wingard from the final year of his contract if "an acceptable trade can be struck".
Burton, 21, was recruited from SANFL club North Adelaide with pick No.19 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft, while his girlfriend lives in South Australia.
The 2017 NAB AFL Rising Star nominee is on holiday in the United States but will consider whether he wants to return home to South Australia over the next few days.
Burton re-signed with the Hawks in July last year until the end of 2020.

Wingard appeared set to join the game's elite after his first four seasons with the Power, having twice made the All Australian team (2013, 2015), winning the club's best and fairest award in his second season, 2013, and finishing runner-up in 2015.
Since then the former Sturt player has been good without reaching the heights he seemed destined for.
After finishing sixth in the club's 2018 best and fairest count, Wingard was challenged to improve during his exit meeting.

Set to become a free agent at the end of next season, Wingard then canvassed interest from rival clubs with the Power's blessing.
For Port to agree to a trade, the Hawks' offer will at the very least need to surpass the first-round compensation pick the Power would almost certainly receive if Wingard walked as a free agent at the end of next season.
