ADELAIDE key forward Josh Jenkins is on track to make a miraculous comeback from a knee injury and return for Showdown 47 against Port Adelaide on Saturday.
It will be just over three weeks since Jenkins left Adelaide Oval on a medicab after hyper-extending his right knee in the late stages of the Crows' round 13 win against Richmond.
The 30-year-old was slated to return for next week's clash with Gold Coast, but is confident he is right to face the Power after a strong training session on Wednesday.
"I expect to be picked tonight, but I will have to jump through a few more hoops tomorrow to fill everyone else with confidence that I can play," Jenkins told radio station SEN SA on Thursday morning.
"I went superbly at main training yesterday and I was ripping around feeling as good as new.
"I did more than everything that was required.
"I was put through my paces afterwards as well, just to prove my health, so did more than everyone else.
"I'm supremely confident that I'm ready to go."

Even if he is named on Thursday night, Jenkins will have to pass a fitness test at the team's captain's run session on Friday morning.
"It'll basically just be some twisting, put that knee in positions where potentially it might arc up and not be happy," he said.
"It's hard to replicate it to the nth degree at training, but we'll give it a good yank and see how it goes and I expect it to be all clear.
"I did some pretty intense drills with the rest of the guys yesterday and felt great, so I'm ready to go."

Speedy utility Wayne Milera is almost certain to return from a back injury, while forward Tom Lynch is also a chance after missing the past three games with a calf injury.
However, midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen is expected to miss another week with a shin complaint after failing to finish training on Wednesday.
