PORT Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley can hear the vitriol from Power fans as his club scraps to survive in the race to the AFL finals.
"I feel, hear, notice it," he told reporters on Friday.
"Any coach does – you understand that the job has got a great responsibility. I'm responsible to all those people who want our footy club to do well.
"I'm not frightened of that. I'm embracing that and challenging myself and the team to make sure that we deliver on what they would like more consistently."

Port sits in ninth spot, one game outside the top eight, ahead of Saturday night's home clash against GWS.
Hinkley was reluctant to describe the Adelaide Oval fixture as a virtual elimination final come early, but conceded it was close to it.
"It's a reality of how close the competition is," he said.
"It's not absolutely make or break ... there's always opportunity.
"But for us, we want to treat it like we need to win this weekend – clearly we should be treating it like that every week, we want to win.
"This is a great opportunity for us to take on another good team.
"We have had a good stretch of (playing) good teams in the last five or six weeks and it has been really challenging for us – sometimes successful, sometimes unsuccessful.
"This week we need to be very aware of the competition that we're playing against ... (but) know that if we play our game the way we can play it, they will also be worried about us."
Hinkley axed stalwarts Charlie Dixon and Steven Motlop for the clash, saying both were lacking touch.
"It's pretty simple for Charlie ... his form is just not quite where we need it to be," he said.
"(Motlop) was finding the ball ... he just hasn't made the most of his opportunities."
Port recalled Paddy Ryder and Joel Garner, while the sixth-placed Giants made three changes for defender Heath Shaw's 300th game.
Co-captain Phil Davis, Adam Kennedy and Jackson Hately return at the expense of Lachlan Keeffe, Brett Deledio and Jake Stein.
