Early prognosis
De Goey suffered another hamstring injury in the qualifying final win over Geelong and has travelled to Germany to be assessed by a world-renowned hamstring expert, with his best hope of a return being if the Pies make the Grand Final. Greenwood will be sidelined long-term after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament against the Cats. The unlucky Murphy is recovering from another injury – nerve damage to his neck. It's also unlikely we'll see Quaynor again this season, while Reid is back in full training but faces an uphill battle to regain his place after another soft-tissue injury. The campaign is already over for Cox, Langdon, Beams and Dunn. - Ben Collins

Early prognosis
Duncan was spotted in a brace on Tuesday for his medial ligament injury and remains a long shot to play again in 2019. Rohan is more unlikely than likely to tackle the Eagles after re-injuring his knee late in the loss to the Pies. The forward, who missed rounds 21 and 22 with the same injury, was restricted to straight-line running with a heavily taped knee on Tuesday. Guthrie will need to prove he's fully over a calf on Thursday after returning to the main group on Tuesday after missing against the Pies. Clark increased his training loads on Tuesday but has again been ruled out, while Fogarty is at least another week away with his ankle. - Mitch Cleary

Early prognosis
Deledio won't play again this year unless the Giants make the Grand Final, and he can somehow rehab his troublesome calf after scans revealed damage to the tendon. Coniglio has been ruled out for this week but is running strongly and increasing his agility work, so the vice-captain could be fit for a preliminary final if GWS can topple Brisbane on Saturday night. - Adam Curley

Early prognosis
Premiership skipper Shannon Hurn (hamstring), tagger Mark Hutchings (hamstring) and star ruckman Nic Naitanui (ankle) all got through the elimination final after injury concerns, while young tall forward Oscar Allen is available after some knee soreness. Half-back Jackson Nelson is also fine after a heavy head knock against the Bombers, leaving the Eagles in an enviable position with an almost fully fit squad to pick from for the semi-final clash with Geelong. - Travis King
