SYDNEY Swans star Lance Franklin is a late withdrawal from Sunday's blockbuster with West Coast at Domain Stadium.
Franklin was unable to overcome back tightness he experienced following training in Perth on Friday afternoon.
The Swans left it until the last minute for Franklin to prove his fitness but he was withdrawn 90 minutes before the opening bounce.
He is expected to be fine for next week’s clash with Adelaide at the SCG.
Brandon Jack has replaced Franklin in the Swans' side.
Tom Mitchell will start as the sub for the visitors while Scott Selwood will wear the green vest for the Eagles.
