MAJAK Daw will make his long-awaited return to senior footy after being named in North Melbourne's final 22 to take on St Kilda on Sunday.

Daw has not played since round 23, 2018 – coincidentally also against the Saints – after suffering career-threatening hip and pelvic injuries.

The Kangaroos have also named speedster Aaron Hall for his first game since round six last season, while youngster Curtis Taylor will play his third career game.

St Kilda has left Jack Sinclair and Josh Battle out of its team, going with Ben Paton and Dean Kent on its bench.

West Coast has decided to stick to its two-pronged ruck attack, confirming Tom Hickey will play alongside Nic Naitanui against Melbourne at Optus Stadium.

The decision leaves youngster Bailey Williams as an emergency alongside tagger Mark Hutchings.

The opposing Demons have confirmed five new faces in all, including former Bomber and Cat Mitch Brown who was locked into the final team.

FANTASY READY Everything you need to know for R1

There were no surprises in Brisbane's 22 to take on Hawthorn with Chris Fagan and his match committee giving third-year utility Brandon Starcevich the nod to play his sixth career game after an impressive pre-season.

Sharpshooter Jack Gunston has overcome an ankle problem to make the final cut for the Hawks.
