FREMANTLE hasn't waited to secure a new senior coach before turning over its list, with rookie Ryan Nyhuis and ruckman Scott Jones both delisted.

Nyhuis played 17 games in four seasons on the list, none more memorable than his remarkable four-goal debut in 2017.

The lockdown defender stunned North Melbourne when he replaced ill veteran David Mundy and proved the match-winner in his first ever game playing forward at Marvel Stadium.

Nyhuis managed five appearances this season, while Jones' only senior game was the round 23 trip to Port Adelaide.

The 25-year-old departs the Dockers after six games in two seasons since being recruited from East Perth with pick 75 in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft.

"We thank both Ryan and Scott for their efforts at Fremantle," football manager Peter Bell said.

"Both were held in high regard at Fremantle and displayed excellent professionalism and commitment in their time as Fremantle Dockers."

The Dockers have made six list changes so far, with Hayden Ballantyne, Harley Bennell and Shane Kersten also confirmed departures.

Jones' exit leaves the Dockers thin in the big man department after Aaron Sandilands' retirement, with youngster Sean Darcy, forward-ruck Rory Lobb and untried Lloyd Meek their only recognised rucks.

WA under-18s ruck prodigy Luke Jackson trained with the club last month and could be a target in November's NAB AFL Draft.

The Dockers currently hold pick six as their first selection and could be eyeing St Kilda's first pick, No.5 overall, in a possible trade for star Bradley Hill.

Hard-running wingman Ed Langdon is also eyeing a return to Victoria, with Melbourne – which has pick 20 – a suitor.

However, AFL.com.au understands ex-North Ballarat midfielder Darcy Tucker is deep in talks on a multi-year contract extension.
