MELBOURNEfc’s 2008 Family Day was better and bigger than ever, with over 4,000 fans flocking to Yarra Park to join in the festivities.
The main attraction on the day was the guernsey presentation, which saw 44 young Demons present each player with their 2008 playing guernsey, along with addresses from the Chairman Paul Gardner, captain David Neitz and coach Dean Bailey.
The other highlights on the day included:
- Melbourne Football Club legends Ron Barassi and Robbie Flower were massive hits at the autograph tent, with fans eager to meet two of the Club’s greatest ever.
- 'It Takes Two' star Russell Robertson was a big hit with the fans, and took out the award for most autographs signed out of the playing group.
