AFTER notching its seventh straight win, Adelaide coach Neil Craig says his side has the confidence and required intensity to take on undefeated league leader St Kilda at Docklands next Sunday.

The Crows put on an impressive four-quarter performance to register a record 117-point win over an undermanned Fremantle on Saturday night and led by a massive 68 points at half time.

Pleased with his side’s attitude and endeavour throughout the dominant display, Craig challenged his players to maintain their fierce attack on the ball in preparation for the Saints.

"We all saw the Geelong versus St Kilda game and it was about as fierce as you’ll get," he said after the game.

"Our whole emphasis tonight, irrespective of scoreboard, was to make sure we got some really good practice at that for what we’re about to play.

"The level of intensity I saw from the playing group tonight will be able to compete with St Kilda. Our challenge will be can we keep it going long enough … that’s provided we can put it against them."

The Crows held Fremantle to the lowest score in its history (1.7) and also posted its greatest winning margin over the visitor.

But Craig said his side would not be getting carried away with the emphatic victory.

"We all understand the shape that Fremantle was in tonight," he said.

"They lost Aaron Sandilands, Des Headland and they haven’t got Matthew Pavlich – they were decimated. We understand that, but we can't do any more than what we did."

Adelaide trailed by just five points at three-quarter-time when it hosted St Kilda in round two but lost by 32.

Craig said his players were looking forward to the rematch.

"We’ve won seven in a row and you could argue that a lot of the sides [we’ve beaten] haven’t been in the top four or top eight," he said.

"But the sides we’re about to play, starting with St Kilda next week, will certainly give us more information."

The Crows sustained no new injuries on Saturday night and forward Brett Burton got through another SANFL game in his return from an ACL injury. He could be considered for the clash with the Saints.

Trent Hentschel (knee) should also be available, but will gain much needed match practice at the lower level.
