It will be Power’s first official hitout for the pre-season after overcoming a minor groin complaint while McGrath - who played with the Lions Reserves side in last week’s QAFL practice match - will also feature in his first NAB Challenge match for 2010.
Simon Black and Josh Drummond are also set for their first matches of 2010 after last week’s clash with Geelong in Melbourne was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions.
The Lions will be looking forward to playing in front of a home crowd at Southport this Friday after travelling interstate for each of their first three AFL pre-season matches.
Friday afternoon’s match also presents Lions fans in South-East Queensland with their first opportunity to see their team live in action.
Lions members receive FREE ENTRY upon presentation of their 2010 membership card while non-members will be able to sign up at the Club’s membership marquee located at the ground and receive a free general admission pass.
Members will also be able to collect their 2010 membership caps on the day.
