The Lions have traditionally had a favourable win/loss record in afternoon matches played at the Gabba. In fact, no team has beaten the Lions at home in sunny conditions since Round 18 of 2006.
The scheduling of the afternoon match - which commences at 1:10pm - means that families can enjoy a day out at the football with plenty of entertainment before, during and after the game.
