The Swans would like to re-assure members and supporters that the Club has re-contracted the vast majority of its players.

The Club says a report in a newspaper today listing Swans players coming out of contract this year or next year was speculative and contains inaccuracies.

“Many of the players mentioned in the story as coming out of contract have already been re-signed on long term contracts,’’ the Swans general manager, football, Dean Moore said today.

“Like most AFL Clubs, we do not provide definitive lists or full details of contract negotiations, signings or terms.

“These negotiations are often a private matter between the Club and the player.

“List management is a constant process but at this stage we’re very pleased with the position we’re in with regards to our playing list,’’ Moore said.
