CARRYING weights is one thing, carrying hay bales is another.
North Melbourne youngster Tarryn Thomas has headed to the Yarra Ranges to continue his isolation training, journeying to the picturesque Gladysdale as he prepares for footy's return.
Training alongside Kangaroos high-performance boss Jona Segal, the second-year gun took part in a number of drills that included weights work (thanks to some help from the hay), as well as running and ball skills.
The pair worked out among the vines of the Willowlake Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, as the supremely talented mid-forward aims to build on an impressive maiden season in the AFL that was recognised with 20 senior games.
AFL Media's award-winning snapper Michael Willson was in Gladysdale to see Thomas and Segal in action, capturing some brilliant photographs of their gruelling session.
