Hawks appoint East Coast Recruiting Manager

Hawthorn FC is pleased to announce that Graham Wright has been appointed to the role of East Coast Recruiting Manager.

Graham, who until recently was employed as Brisbane Lions FC Victorian Recruiting Manager, will start work at Hawthorn later this week.

General Manager Player Personnel and Strategy Chris Pelchen said this newly created position would fulfill a key role in the Club's recruiting future.

"This position, coupled with Gary Buckenara's relocation to Perth in the role of West Coast Recruiting Manager, means we now have a dedicated recruiting resource in both the west and east coast markets, which puts us in a leading position within the AFL," Pelchen said.

Graham was recruited to Collingwood FC in 1987 and played 201 senior games with the Pies, including the 1990 Grand Final. His playing accolades include All Australian (1990) and Runner-Up Brownlow Medal (1990).
