FANS will ultimately decide how long canned crowd effects last with Channel Seven committing to its trial for the AFL restart.
After consultation with leading moving makers in Hollywood, the broadcaster will unveil the effects sourced from a log of previous matches.

While they will be introduced in round two, they are set to look different as the season unfolds.
"We've had a number of different trials and consulted a number of people, including from the movie business, just to get it right," Channel Seven managing director Lewis Martin told AFL.com.au.
"The heart of our broadcast is always the game, this is just a subtle modification or treatment of our broadcast which makes it easier for the viewer's enjoyment.

"Ultimately the viewer's will decide. (That will be) over a period of weeks and we'll modify accordingly."
Broadcasters will be forced into several changes for the game's return, including commentators calling matches from remote booths to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.
