North Melbourne will recognise the rich and culturally diverse history of its local area with a Community Walk from Aegis Park to Etihad Stadium for the club’s Multicultural Round clash with the Bulldogs on Sunday,

The walk will start at Arden Street at 3.00pm and the group will pass some key historical and cultural landmarks along the way, before being welcomed by Asanti Dancers and Burundian Drummers outside Gate 7 in plenty of time for the match.

The 40-mintue journey is divided into four quarters: Founders, Immigrants, Workers and The First Inhabitants. Each will examine key personalities, trends and developments that left an indelible mark on the local community that remains to this day.

All North Melbourne supporters are welcome to meet at Aegis Park and join The Huddle’s Community Ambassadors, some Western Bulldogs members and Police from the North Melbourne Station in the walk.
