The silky Hawk (@ShaunBurgoyne9), who played eight seasons with Port Adelaide before moving to Victoria, is enjoying another consistent season with the reigning premier.
Burgoyne's brutal initiation to AFL football
Burgoyne answered questions about his ill coach Alastair Clarkson, other indigenous players and what it means to wear Hawthorn's famous No.9 (worn by Hawk greats Shane Crawford and Robert DiPierdomenico.
When asked about the best indigenous player he has seen, Burgoyne gave former teammate (and 1993 Brownlow medallist) Gavin Wanganeen the nod ahead of Adelaide great Andrew McLeod, Swans dual Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes and another former teammate (and Coleman medallist) Lance Franklin.
As for his song of choice when running out onto a ground - Burgoyne named the sportsman's anthem, Eye of the Tiger.
