The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the General Manager Football is responsible for ensuring the long-term future of the game, through a vibrant State League competition and programs which enable South Australians to participate and reach their full potential.

The General Manager will lead the SANFL football division in the areas of the State League competition, umpiring, community engagement, community football, talented player pathway, coach accreditation, diverse programs and media. 

This role works closely with SANFL Clubs and key stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for football.

The Candidate
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual who can demonstrate a range of managerial and interpersonal skills at senior level.

The appointee must be able to demonstrate a career path involving achievement in managing a complex multi-layered business, dealing with a range of independent stakeholders. 

Experience within a sports management, leadership and administration role is highly relevant.
