The AFL wishes to advise the Tribunal will not sit tonight, Tuesday March 4, after all players accepted the sanctions offered by the Match Review Panel from the matches in the NAB Challenge, played between February 24-March 1:
Sanctions Accepted:
Scott Selwood, West Coast, has accepted a $900 sanction for misconduct in that he pushed Craig Bird into the path of umpire Jacob Mollison during the second quarter of the NAB Challenge match between West Coast and the Sydney Swans, played at Blacktown on Thursday February 27, 2014.
Ryan O’Keefe, Sydney Swans, has accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record for striking Scott Selwood, West Coast, during the fourth quarter of the NAB Challenge match between the Sydney Swans and West Coast played at Blacktown on Thursday February 27, 2014.
Billie Smedts, Geelong Cats, has accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record for striking Jimmy Toumpas, Melbourne, during the third quarter of the NAB Challenge match between the Geelong Cats and Melbourne played at Alice Springs on Friday February 28, 2014.
Lenny Hayes, St Kilda, has accepted a one-match sanction for striking Stephen Congilio, GWS Giants, during the first quarter of the NAB Challenge match between St Kilda and The GWS Giants played at Wagga on Saturday March 1, 2014.
Maverick Weller, St Kilda, has accepted a one-mach sanction for striking Tomas Bugg, GWS Giants, during the third quarter of the NAB Challenge match between St Kilda and The GWS Giants played at Wagga on Saturday March 1, 2014.
