B: Luke Brown, Kyle Hartigan, Jake Lever
HB: Brodie Smith, Daniel Talia, Rory Laird
C: David Mackay, Matt Crouch, Rory Atkins
HF: Tom Lynch, Taylor Walker, Charlie Cameron
F: Mitch McGovern, Josh Jenkins, Eddie Betts
Foll: Sam Jacobs, Brad Crouch, Richard Douglas
INT: Jake Kelly, Hugh Greenwood, Paul Seedsman, Riley Knight

UNAVAILABLE: Rory Sloane (appendix)

It's hard to imagine Sloane will be right to play, just nine days after having surgery to have his appendix removed. Other than that, the selection choices are pretty straight forward, with skipper Taylor Walker, key defender Daniel Talia and midfielder Hugh Greenwood all returning after missing the round 23 clash with West Coast in Perth. Kyle Hartigan's experience gets him the nod in the backline over Alex Keath, who has done a solid job since being promoted off the rookie list late in the season. Paul Seedsman's strong performance in round 23 should give him the nod ahead of Wayne Milera. - Lee Gaskin

B: David Myers, Michael Hartley, Mark Baguley
HB: Andrew McGrath, Michael Hurley, Conor McKenna
C: James Kelly, Darcy Parish, Brendon Goddard
HF: Orazio Fantasia, Cale Hooker, David Zaharakis
F: James Stewart, Joe Daniher, Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
Foll: Tom Bellchambers, Dyson Heppell, Zach Merrett
INT: Jobe Watson, Travis Colyer, Patrick Ambrose, Martin Gleeson

UNAVAILABLE: Josh Green (foot)

The Bombers are sweating on the fitness of important trio Michael Hurley (calf), Orazio Fantasia (hamstring) and Cale Hooker (bone bruising) ahead of next week's elimination final against Sydney next week. All three missed the Bombers' last game against Fremantle in round 23, but are clearly in their best side, seeing Josh Begley, Heath Hocking and Jayden Laverde out of the 22 for this projected line-up. Essendon's scoring power has been on show all year, and John Worsfold's men will head to the SCG confident of an upset after their impressive performance against the Swans earlier in the season. - Callum Twomey

B: Tom Stewart, Tom Lonergan, Jed Bews
HB: Zach Tuohy, Lachie Henderson, Andrew Mackie
C: Mark Blicavs, Patrick Dangerfield, Mitch Duncan
HF: Brandan Parfitt, Harry Taylor, Sam Menegola
F: Daniel Menzel, Tom Hawkins, James Parsons
Foll: Zac Smith, Joel Selwood, Scott Selwood
INT: Steven Motlop, Cameron Guthrie, Jake Kolodjashnij, Jordan Murdoch

UNAVAILABLE: Nil

The Cats have a few under injury clouds – Joel Selwood (ankle) and James Parsons (foot) will be given every chance to prove their fitness, with both likely to need every minute to get up for the qualifying final. If Selwood comes in, the Cats will need to make one change, and given the Tigers' recent preference to play one ruck, combined with the return of Mark Blicavs and the likelihood Harry Taylor will play forward to man Alex Rance again, means Wylie Buzza is the obvious omission. Other dilemmas include whether to trust Nakia Cockatoo's body after a third hamstring strain sustained in round 19, if Jackson Thurlow is called up after being omitted following round 22, and whether Zach Guthrie gets the nod to help out with the Tigers' mosquito fleet. - Jennifer Phelan

B: Heath Shaw, Phil Davis, Aidan Corr
HB: Zac Williams, Adam Tomlinson, Nick Haynes
C: Josh Kelly, Callan Ward, Lachie Whitfield
HF: Toby Greene, Jeremy Cameron, Brett Deledio
F: Steve Johnson, Jon Patton, Devon Smith
Foll: Shane Mumford, Stephen Coniglio, Dylan Shiel
INT: Tom Scully, Nathan Wilson, Jacob Hopper, Matt de Boer

UNAVAILABLE: Adam Kennedy (knee), Matt Buntine (knee)

Leon Cameron loves his three talls inside 50 but the Giants are at their best when their pressure is high, so I've gone with Matt de Boer to play instead of Rory Lobb. Shane Mumford needs minimal rest in the ruck and when he does want a short break, Jonathon Patton can chip in, with the move also giving Patton the freedom to get up the ground. Cameron also has the option of using de Boer on Adelaide defender Brodie Smith, or Rory Sloane in the midfield. Steve Johnson's big-game experience and ability to find a goal when needed earns him a shot to start his last finals campaign. - Adam Curley

B: Darcy Byrne-Jones, Tom Clurey, Matthew Broadbent
HB: Jasper Pittard, Dougal Howard, Hamish Hartlett
C: Justin Westhoff, Ollie Wines, Jared Polec
HF: Chad Wingard, Todd Marshall, Robbie Gray
F: Jake Neade, Charlie Dixon, Sam Gray
Foll: Paddy Ryder, Brad Ebert, Travis Boak
INT: Sam Powell-Pepper, Karl Amon, Aidyn Johnson, Dan Houston

UNAVAILABLE: Tom Jonas (suspended)

Providing he gets through Port's SANFL final unscathed this weekend, defender Matthew Broadbent will make a strong case to return to the side, most likely for Riley Bonner. The other two contentious decisions are to retain youngsters Todd Marshall and Aidyn Johnson. The temptation would be to recall Jackson Trengove and Jarman Impey with the Power's season on the line. But coach Ken Hinkley has shown he's prepared to back in the club's youth and give them a chance in big games. I also feel the Power are content going in with two key defenders to take on Josh Kennedy and Jack Darling. - Lee Gaskin

B: Nick Vlastuin, Alex Rance, Dylan Grimes
HB: Bachar Houli, David Astbury, Brandon Ellis
C: Shaun Grigg, Trent Cotchin, Shane Edwards
HF: Daniel Rioli, Josh Caddy, Kane Lambert
F: Dan Butler, Jack Riewoldt, Jacob Townsend
Foll: Toby Nankervis, Dustin Martin, Dion Prestia
INT: Jack Graham, Kamdyn McIntosh, Nathan Broad, Jason Castagna

UNAVAILABLE: Nil

There should only be one change to the round 23 team to make way for Josh Caddy and it will be a tough decision for the match committee. It shapes as a decision between Oleg Markov, Jason Castagna and Nathan Broad. Castagna had four possessions against St Kilda and hasn't kicked a goal in his past four matches, but his pressure, speed and hardness in the forward line has been crucial and he has played every game this season. Likewise, Broad has become important for structure in the past two months despite some nervous moments in defence against the Saints. Markov is the player making way in this 22, with the Tigers to stick with a small forward line, using Caddy in attack. - Nathan Schmook

B: Nick Smith, Heath Grundy, Lewis Melican
HB: Jake Lloyd, Dane Rampe, Jarrad McVeigh
C: Dan Hannebery, Josh Kennedy, Zak Jones
HF: Kieren Jack, Sam Reid, Tom Papley
F: Will Hayward, Lance Franklin, Gary Rohan
Foll: Kurt Tippett, Luke Parker, Isaac Heeney
INT: Callum Mills, Nic Newman, Callum Sinclair, George Hewett

UNAVAILABLE: Nil

The only real selection issues for the Swans will be the ruck combination, and Kurt Tippett and Callum Sinclair have done enough over the past month to keep Sam Naismith in the NEAFL. The pair gives the side more flexibility given they both have the ability to be dangerous tall forward options alongside Lance Franklin and Sam Reid. Nic Newman gets a spot ahead of Dean Towers in a tight call, with his foot skills and decision-making superior to his more experienced teammate. - Adam Curley

B: Tom Barrass, Eric Mackenzie, Brad Sheppard
HB: Shannon Hurn, Jeremy McGovern, Elliot Yeo
C: Andrew Gaff, Matt Priddis, Lewis Jetta
HF: Dom Sheed, Jack Darling, Jamie Cripps
F: Drew Petrie, Josh Kennedy, Mark LeCras
FOLL: Nathan Vardy, Sam Mitchell, Luke Shuey
INT: Liam Duggan, Mark Hutchings, Jack Redden, Sharrod Wellingham

UNAVAILABLE: Sam Butler, Scott Lycett, Nic Naitanui (injured)

There won't be many changes to the side that knocked over Adelaide and scraped into eighth spot, setting up an elimination final showdown against the Power. Youngster Luke Partington has shown promise in five games but could be on the chopping block after limited impact against the Crows. Sharrod Wellingham's experience and versatility to run through midfield or at either end could get him the nod instead. Willie Rioli wasn't deemed ready to make his debut against the Crows and the goalsneak would seem to be only an outside chance. – Travis King
