PORT Adelaide has dropped Domenic Cassisi for its clash against Richmond on Sunday, while Collingwood made three changes for its blockbuster against Essendon.

Former Power skipper Cassisi joins Angus Monfries (hamstring) on the sidelines with Tom Logan and Sam Gray coming in to face the Tigers.

Richmond made three changes to the side that defeated Brisbane last week with Steven Morris, Sam Lloyd and Nick Vlastuin replacing omitted trio Matt Arnot, Brett O'Hanlon and Matt Dea.

After dropping Brodie Grundy on Thursday, the Magpies also left out Sam Dwyer and Lachie Keeffe for the clash against Essendon at the MCG.

Jesse White is back in the seniors along with experienced duo Nick Maxwell and Luke Ball.

The Bombers have included Dustin Fletcher and Cory Dell'Olio for suspended star Brendon Goddard and Kyle Hardingham, who was dropped.

Fremantle has regained Matthew Pavlich and Michael Johnson for its clash against Greater Western Sydney at Patersons Stadium with the pair replacing injured duo Luke McPharlin (calf) and Garrick Ibbotson (calf).

The Giants lost another player to injury with Jonathan Patton (groin) joining Adam Treloar (groin) and Stephen Coniglio (thumb) on the sidelines.

Sam Frost and Kristian Jaksch were omitted with Matt Buntine, Lachie Plowman, Jacob Townsend, Jono O'Rourke and Rory Lobb the six inclusions.

Hawthorn has made three changes for its meeting with Adelaide on Friday night, with Jonathan Simpkin, Ben McEvoy and Will Langford all set to return.

David Hale (omitted), Brian Lake (suspension) and Brad Sewell (hamstring) make way.

The Crows have made one change to their team, with David Mackay (hamstring) replaced by Jason Porplyzia.

Melbourne has brought back Luke Tapscott for Saturday's clash against Geelong at the MCG.

Tapscott has been forced to work his way back into the senior team through some solid VFL form after having been overlooked early this season.

Defender Neville Jetta returns from his one-week suspension alongside Aidan Riley, while youngsters Max Gawn, Christian Salem and Dom Barry have all been dropped.

Veteran Cat James Kelly comes back for Geelong after being left out with soreness against the Western Bulldogs last week. Young defender Jed Bews is omitted.

St Kilda veteran Sam Fisher has been picked to play his first game this season against North Melbourne as he works his way back from a series of injury complaints.

Fisher has not played an AFL since round 10 last season, but has proven his fitness in his five VFL games this year.

Lenny Hayes, Tom Curren and Tom Hickey are also back for the Saints, while Jack Steven (thigh), Trent Dennis-Lane, Billy Longer and Darren Minchington are all out.

Aaron Mullett has been brought back into the side as the Kangaroos' sole change, at the expense of Liam Anthony.

Shaun Higgins has been omitted from the Western Bulldogs' lineup that faces Gold Coast at Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns.

Higgins has been replaced by Sam Darley, while Gold Coast will be without captain Gary Ablett following season-ending shoulder injury and Trent McKenzie (hamstring).

Tom Murphy and Matt Shaw are back in the fold for the Suns.

Sydney Swans forward Dean Towers will make his long-awaited debut against Carlton at the SCG on Saturday night.

Towers, pick No. 22 in the 2012 NAB AFL Draft, has been forced to bide his time in the NEAFL but gets his chance in a strong Swans side with youngster Zak Jones to miss with an Achilles complaint.

The Blues will be without Andrew Carrazzo (quad) and Troy Menzel (shoulder) for the clash, with David Ellard and Nick Graham named as their replacements.
