COLLINGWOOD star Dane Swan is set to return for the Magpies' NAB Challenge clash against Richmond at Wangaratta on Saturday.
However, star Tigers forward Jack Riewoldt will miss again with quad tightness as he prepares for the club's round one clash against Gold Coast on March 15.
As reported on AFL.com.au. the Magpies will welcome back talented goalsneak Alex Fasolo, who has not played since round five last season because of a serious foot injury.
Tyson Goldsack, Nathan Brown and Ben Reid have also been named in the Magpies' squad of 29, which will trimmed to 26 on Saturday.
Richmond has named an otherwise strong squad, including young midfielder Reece Conca, who has spent much of the pre-season in rehabilitation following hamstring surgery. Chris Knights, who missed the majority of 2013 with a serious knee injury, could also play his first game since round seven, 2013.
Mature-age recruit Nathan Gordon has also been selected to play his first game for the club.
Dylan Grimes (hamstring), Daniel Jackson (groin), Ivan Maric (ankle) and Chris Newman (knee) are all recovering from injury ahead of the club's round one clash against the Suns.
Notable omissions for the Magpies were Nick Maxwell, Jarryd Blair and Dayne Beams.
