AFL.com.au's Nick Bowen was chatting live from the Federal Court for the third and final day of the dramatic court action involving Essendon, suspended coach James Hird and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.

The court heard from more witnesses before legal counsel for all the parties made their final submissions to Justice John Middleton, who will now take several weeks to decide on the outcome of the case.
