Established in 1962, South East Juniors (SEJ) is a Junior Australian Rules Football Competition which provides playing and umpiring opportunities for over 4700 boys and girls in Melbourne’s outer South Eastern suburbs.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven person to join our small team based at Cranbourne East to manage Book keeping, umpiring administration and merchandise division.

The position is Part Time - 20hrs a week over 3 or 4 days. Flexible hours are negotiable.

The role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the following:
  • Umpire Administration including not limited to Payroll/HR functions
  • Invoice Preparation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation
  • Producing weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Compliance – preparation and lodgement of BAS, Workcover, Payroll tax and Superannuation returns
  • Managing SEJ Merchandising
  • General Administration support
Required:
  • Quicken (Quickbooks) Experience
  • Experience in office administration
  • Solid PC skills including all Microsoft Office Products
  • Confident, organised and able to work well under pressure
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working independently, able to meet deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Have or willing to obtain an WWC
