SUMMARY
The Western Bulldogs (7-14) might remain in the bottom four, but they have been one of the AFL's good stories in recent times, winning three of their last five games. Sunday's clash is a chance for the faithful to farewell veteran midfielder Daniel Cross, who will play his 210th and final game for the club he has served so well. In a club favourite's farewell game, and given the brand of football the Bulldogs have played recently, it is hard to see them losing to Melbourne. The battling Demons have won just two games this season. They will cling to the fact that one of those was against the Bulldogs in round 14.
