Reporting directly to the Community Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the delivery and growth of the club’s ‘Flying Squad’ activities, including considerable match-day and weekend commitments in schools, AusKick Centres, Junior Football Clubs and AFL venues
- Coordinating of the community departments ticketing, donations and player requests in line with the club’s Fan Development and Community strategies
- Coordinating all aspects of the Melbourne Airport and EDFL/RDFL partnership including club training, talent camps and coaching master class sessions
- Supporting a range of club partnerships and projects, including the community online auction and annual community camp
- Assisting the club’s broader community team to deliver project and activities in the community
- Demonstrated experience working with young people and managing volunteers
- Demonstrated experience in delivering clinics or skills sessions within a sporting context
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of football or sport development programs
- Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience in working with people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background (CALD) Demonstrated strong project management skills
- Australian Drivers License
