SYDNEY Swans midfielder Kieren Jack is on the cusp of breaking into the top five in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Vero.

Jack is now rated the sixth-best player in the competition after yet another dominant performance in the Swans' big win over Richmond at the SCG on Sunday.

The 26-year-old finished the game with 26 possessions, 10 tackles and two goals, which equated 28.8 player ratings points.

Jack's effort saw him overtake his teammate Josh Kennedy and Collingwood star Dane Swan on the ratings table.

Jack has laid more tackles than any other player this season and ranks third for inside-50s and score assists.

However, he was not the leading scorer in round 18. That honour went to Western Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus, who was outstanding in the Dogs' win over West Coast at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Dahlhaus tallied a career-high 29 disposals. He also registered 568m gained, seven inside-50s and booted four goals, and his performance equated to 33 player ratings points.

Jack and Greater Western Sydney forward Jeremy Cameron were the equal second-highest scorers of the weekend.

Cameron booted seven goals against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday, and his effort helped him continue his rapid climb up the ratings table.

Having started the season at 389, Cameron now sits at 192.

Gold Coast skipper Gary Ablett remains the top-rated player. He is 113 points clear of Adelaide midfielder Patrick Dangerfield, while Geelong skipper Joel Selwood is 20 points further back in third.

Hawthorn's Lance Franklin, who booted eight goals in the Hawks' thumping win over Essendon, is the top-rated forward.

Although West Coast duo Nic Naitanui and Shannon Hurn have missed matches in recent times, they remain the top-rated ruckman and defender.
