The 241-game veteran was carried from the field in pain after landing awkwardly during the last quarter of the 11-point win, but returned for the end of the match.
However, Hawks fitness coach Andrew Russell told the club's website Guerra had experienced "a little bit of soreness" early in the week and would need to pass a fitness test before being cleared to face the Sydney Swans.
Guerra missed last year's Grand Final after tearing his hamstring against West Coast in round 23.
Ruckman Max Bailey and NAB AFL Rising Star nominee Jed Anderson will both be in the selection mix this week after overcoming their injury worries.
Bailey was a late withdrawal from the Crows clash with knee swelling, which Russell said had now subsided.
"The swelling has settled down 100 per cent," Russell said.
"His knee looks great. He's available to play this week."
Anderson has missed three weeks with the hamstring strain he picked up against Collingwood in round three.
With the Box Hill Hawks having a bye this week, he will either come straight back into the senior line-up or have another week off.
"He's in the mix to be picked for the AFL team," Russell said.
Injury-prone midfielder Xavier Ellis, who is yet to play this season, is facing a further one to two weeks on the sidelines with his calf injury.
