EMERGING Port Adelaide star Chad Wingard has rocketed into the top 100 in the Official AFL Player Ratings, brought to you by Vero, after a brilliant performance in Sunday's dramatic Showdown win over Adelaide.

The 20-year-old had 24 disposals and kicked five goals against the Crows, and the effort equated to 30.2 player ratings points, which was the highest score of round 19.

Having started the season in 409th position on the player ratings ladder, Wingard's latest heroics have seen him climb to 87th place.

Wingard features prominently in a number of statistical categories this year.

He is eighth in the League for inside-50s, 13th for goals and 16th for score assists.

Of the top 40 goalkickers in 2013, only Gold Coast captain Gary Ablett has had more disposals.

The second-highest player ratings score of round 19 was recorded by Brisbane Lions midfielder Daniel Rich.

Rich kicked three goals in the Lions' win over St Kilda – all from outside 50 – and led his team for total metres gained despite having only 19 disposals, which equated to 30 points.

Ablett had a relatively quiet outing against West Coast in Perth, but he remains the top-rated player in the AFL.

Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield, Geelong skipper Joel Selwood and Essendon captain Jobe Watson are unchanged in positions two, three and four.

However, Sydney Swans ball-magnet Kieren Jack has continued his rise by bumping Collingwood gun Scott Pendlebury out of the top five.

Despite their subdued outing against Richmond on Saturday, Hawthorn duo Lance Franklin and Jarry Roughead remain the top-rated forwards.

And although West Coast big men Nic Naitanui and Shannon Hurn have not played in recent weeks, they are still the top-rated ruckman and defender.
