Waite, who played his first game for the season against Melbourne after overcoming a calf complaint, was cited for making contact to the head of Melbourne's Tom McDonald in the first quarter of Sunday's clash at the MCG.

Waite has been offered a one-match suspension with an early guilty plea, meaning he'll miss the Blues' Monday night clash with St Kilda if the club accepts.
The Blues will risk being without Waite for their round eight match against Port Adelaide as well if they challenge the charge and lose at the tribunal.
Waite's record, while not considered good or bad for the match review panel's purposes, includes four matches suspended in 2010 for two rough conduct charges.
Koschitzke has been hit with a three-match suspension that can be reduced to two with an early guilty plea.
The Saints forward was caught on camera delivering a high hit to Collingwood youngster Jamie Elliott away from the ball during the second quarter of Friday night's game at Etihad Stadium.
Koschitzke's record of three matches suspended within the last two years increases his penalty, meaning a guilty plea will rule him out of the Saints' clash with the Blues and their round eight trip to Adelaide to play the Crows.
An unsuccessful appeal at the tribunal will cost him an additional game.

Franklin is in the clear for his contact against Adelaide's Andy Otten, with the panel deeming it was the big Hawk's momentum that took both players to ground and the 50m penalty paid was sufficient.
In other MRP news, Geelong captain Joel Selwood and former Richmond skipper Chris Newman have been fined for wrestling each other.
Selwood has been stung with a second offence, costing him $1800 with an early guilty plea. Newman's first offence will cost him $900 with a guilty plea.
