PERTH'S new stadium has secured a naming rights sponsor for the next 10 years.
The jewel in the city's sporting crown will host an AFLW match between Fremantle and Collingwood on Saturday, February 10 before being home to 23 AFL matches across 2018.
Telco company Optus will be the new naming rights holder.
The deal will deliver a multimillion-dollar return to Western Australia, with the company providing the stadium with telecommunications and internet services.
WAtoday reported recently the figure injected back into state coffers was expected to be around the $50 million mark.
The first official home-and-away match to be played at the venue will be West Coast versus Sydney on Sunday, March 25.
Construction has been reported to be at the 97 per cent complete mark, with both West Coast and Fremantle recently releasing their 2018 membership packages.
