DESPITE receiving only a reprimand from the Match Review Panel, Adelaide midfielder Scott Thompson has decided he'll fight to clear himself of rough conduct at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday night.

Thompson was charged by the MRP for a high bump on Western Bulldogs defender Brett Goodes during the third quarter of Sunday's big Crows win at AAMI Stadium.

The incident was assessed as level one, drawing a one-week suspension, but the 30-year-old's six-year good record reduced the penalty to a reprimand.

However, rather than accept the demerit points towards his future record, Thompson has decided to take his case to the tribunal, which will sit at 5pm AEST.

He does not risk a suspension by challenging the MRP's verdict.

All other players charged on Monday have accepted their sanctions, with Melbourne's Neville Jetta to sit out the next two matches, while Richmond's Steven Morris, Brisbane Lion Pearce Hanley and St Kilda forward Stephen Milne will each miss one week.

Milne's misconduct charge, for unnecessary contact to the face of Essendon's Courtenay Dempsey on Saturday night, was branded "stupid" by Saints coach Scott Watters on Tuesday morning.

Eight St Kilda and Bombers players accepted a combined total of $14,100 in fines for engaging in a melee during the fiery clash at Etihad Stadium.
