SUMMARY
Both sides will enter this one riding high after two big wins – albeit for differing reasons. Adelaide's 135-point thumping of Greater Western Sydney was, by its very definition a 'big win', but it was hardly as vital as St Kilda's victory over Carlton on Monday night. A triumph over the Crows at AAMI Stadium could force pundits to re-evaluate where they have the Saints finishing in 2013, while the home side will look to build on the way it dismantled the hapless Giants last weekend.

THE SIX POINTS

1. Explosive superstar Patrick Dangerfield shapes as the match-winner. He's now the fourth-ranked player in the Official AFL Player Ratings, up three spots from seventh on the back of his 28-disposal, four-goal effort last weekend.

2. The Crows have won three of the last four clashes between the sides, but St Kilda’s only win since 2010 was by 103 points in round 18, 2011 at Etihad Stadium.

3. These sides have met 16 times before at AAMI Stadium, and the Crows have dominated, winning 12 times to St Kilda's four.

4. The Saints' last two visits to AAMI Stadium have resulted in four-point losses on both occasions, one to the Crows in round 12 last season and the other to Port Adelaide in round one, 2012.

5. You'd think the Saints would find it easier in the City of Churches; St Kilda averages 94 points in Melbourne compared to 78 points a game in Adelaide.

6. It's not just Adelaide that gives St Kilda a hard time in South Australia – Port Adelaide have also proven difficult to beat in recent times. The Saints have lost five of their last six games in Adelaide.
