NORTH Melbourne has lost gun midfielder Ben Cunnington for Saturday's clash against a Sydney side that has also made one late change.

Cunnington has been removed from the Roos' line-up due to a back complaint and will be replaced with big-bodied midfielder Aiden Bonar, who will make his club debut.

The Swans have omitted Justin McInerney from their line-up and gone for extra height with Hayden McLean recalled for his first game of 2020. 

Bonar joined the Roos from Greater Western Sydney in October, while McLean managed four games for the Swans last year after joining as a pre-season rookie signing.

The match at Marvel Stadium begins at 1.45pm AEST.
