CYRIL Rioli has offered his support to Collingwood defender Travis Varcoe, who is on report for high contact with the Hawthorn star.
Varcoe was booked for forceful front-on contact with Rioli during Friday night's clash at the MCG.
It is one of several incidents from round 14 that will keep the Match Review Panel busy on Monday.
"It was just a high bump - I said that to him after the game, when we had the tribute to Phil Walsh," Rioli said on Sunday at the launch of his third Fox Swift novel.
"I said it wasn't much."
The panel will rule on three incidents from Saturday's Richmond-Greater Western Sydney match.
Giants midfielder Toby Greene may face a fine for apparently spitting in the direction of Anthony Miles.
Tigers ruckman Ivan Maric was booked for striking Jack Steele, while Richmond captain Trent Cotchin made high contact with Zac Williams in a marking contest.
A fortnight after Carlton's Bryce Gibbs was suspended for his sling tackle, Port Adelaide forward Jay Schulz will come under scrutiny.
Schulz's heavy tackle last Thursday night knocked out Sydney defender Ted Richards.
And Essendon's Mark Baguley is in trouble for contact with St Kilda's Jack Lonie as the Saints mauled the Bombers on Sunday at Etihad Stadium.
