SEVEN rounds in and Stuart Dew is still unsure of his best Gold Coast team, but the coach should have the services of co-captain Steven May to play Melbourne on Saturday.
May missed last weekend's loss to the Western Bulldogs following an infection to a broken finger on his left hand.
But the Suns full-back was at the team's main training session on Wednesday, and although not looking 100 per cent confident with the hand, is close to assured of selection.
"It's looking likely," Dew said.

"Obviously he's just got to tick a couple of boxes today and Friday, but we'll have a fair idea today. It's looking good."
Dew has started his career with a 3-4 win-loss record, but a combination of injuries and form has forced him to juggle the team from week to week.
Last week he played without injured star Tom Lynch (knee) in the forward line and moved Jack Martin into the attacking 50 and returned Callum Ah Chee to half-back.
Dew said he was still trying to figure out who was in his best line-up.
"To be honest I'm still learning about the group and how they react to adversity and success," he said.
"In terms of a rock solid 22 and this is what it would be, not yet.
"That's a good thing for the club and players to feel like they're still putting their stamp on it.
"Us, as a match committee, we see it as a broad list and we'd love to narrow that as the season goes on."
Dew hinted there could be changes from the team that lost narrowly to the Bulldogs last week, with Melbourne presenting a different challenge.
"They're hitting their straps," he said.
"They play a reasonably similar game (to us). They've knocked us off in the contested possession ranks, they're number one and we're down to number three.
"They play fairly direct but use a fair bit of handball as well. We've got a fair picture of how they play."
