Early prognosis
The Crows will be hoping Fogarty is ready to play after his shoulder injury kept him out for a second game. The key forward was a late withdrawal in round four after the training incident but the club hopes he will be available to face West Coast on Saturday at the Gabba. Tyson Stengle is available after his club-imposed four-match ban for his alleged drink driving incident. - Callum Twomey

Early prognosis
Zorko has made a surprise recovery from his calf strain and is in the frame to return against Geelong on Thursday night. Ellis-Yolmen will miss at least a fortnight after scans confirmed he had suffered a strain and he hasn't joined teammates on the road for the two-week stint in Sydney. Adams has suffered yet another foot setback and will require further rest. McFayden will go under the knife after tearing his ACL in a scratch match on the weekend. - Mitch Cleary

Early prognosis
The Blues would be hopeful that Fisher will finally return, having been a late omission from last week's defeat to the Saints due to a bout of gastro. Silvagni should come back into contention after fracturing a rib, while Dow is also an outside chance to return from a knee issue, but may need another week. Expect Marchbank to be another fortnight away, having been battling knee soreness. - Riley Beveridge

Updated: Tuesday, July 7 |
Early prognosis
The Pies will be without De Goey this week, having broken the AFL's quarantine protocols while being investigated for an incident assault charge. He now won't be able to play until producing two negative COVID-19 tests, which won't be returned until after Friday night's clash with the Hawks. The club is hopeful Greenwood will return to contention from an ACL injury in the near future, having re-joined the main group at training over the last couple of weeks. Reid is also close to a return from a calf problem. Howe and Langdon are more long-term prospects, as both deal with respective knee issues. - Riley Beveridge

Early prognosis
Essendon could ill afford to lose Stringer from its forward line but will be with him missing from anywhere between four to 12 weeks with his syndesmosis injury to his ankle from last week's win over Collingwood. Daniher is still making progress from his groin injury and joining in more and more training but the club won't put a date on his return. Ambrose will miss an extended period after suffering a foot injury, but the Bombers will have Zach Merrett back from suspension for their clash with North Melbourne. - Callum Twomey

Early prognosis
There's mixed news on the injury front for the Dockers after their first win of the season. Fyfe, Cox, Colyer and Henry are all tests for Saturday's clash with St Kilda, while Conca (hamstring), Hogan (calf) and Logue (toe) suffered injuries against Adelaide. Conca's hamstring concern is on the minor end of the scale, while Hogan complained of calf tightness at quarter-time and played out the game, with scans revealing a soleus strain which will keep him out for at least a fortnight. Logue arguably played his best game in purple but is unlikely for the Saints clash after he wrenched his big toe joint. - Chris Correia

Early prognosis
Sunday night's loss to the Giants was compounded by mid-game injuries to young pair Scrimshaw and Lewis. They are awaiting scan results to rule on how much time both players will miss. At least Jon Patton (foot) will be good to go as a like-for-like replacement for Lewis. There is good news for Impey, who could play in a reserves scratch match this weekend after being back in the skills program for six weeks. He's also been involved in portions of full-contact training in more recent times. Howe is also showing progress and has completed three sessions back with the ball program but remains without a return date. - Marc McGowan

Early prognosis
It was another rough week for the Demons but it certainly didn't owe to injuries. They have one of the healthiest lists of any club, with none of the players out being first-choice options. Melbourne came through unscathed again from the loss to Richmond, although Spargo rolled his right ankle in the reserves scratch game. The Roos have a big decision to make on what to do with Cunnington, who was sluggish in his return from two weeks out on Saturday and also suffered another knock to his sore back. He is dealing with referred pain down his leg as well. Higgins and Thomas suffered fresh injuries at the weekend, so they will need to prove their fitness. Ziebell wanted to try and play last week and will push hard to return. Kayne Turner played limited minutes in a reserves scratch match in his return from a pre-season foot injury. Larkey and Davies-Uniacke could do the same this weekend. - Marc McGowan

Sam Reid | Calf | 1 week |
Ben Ronke | Back | TBC |
Callum Sinclair | Knee | 1 week |
Updated: Tuesday, July 7 |
Early prognosis
There are a few fresh injuries here, but at least Brand should be right to go, especially with fellow key defender Melican injured again. Sinclair is doubtful as the Swans treat cautiously the bone bruising in his left knee, while coach John Longmire has already ruled out McCartin, who was still suffering some concussion symptoms at the weekend. Reid continues to train and is edging closer, but his return won't be until at least next week. Scans revealed a stress reaction in Ronke's lower back, so it remains to be seen how long he will be out. Amartey has suffered another hamstring setback. - Marc McGowan

Updated: Tuesday, July 7 |
Early prognosis
Scans confirmed a low-grade strain for Shuey that will rule him out for at least one week, however the Eagles are hopeful he'll be fit for the round seven Derby. Jones' setback will likely cost him one week extra. Brander missed the win over Sydney and will be assessed at main training this week Hutchings is edging towards main training, while O'Neill will re-join teammates when they return to Perth after he spent recent months at home in Tasmania. - Mitch Cleary

Sam Lloyd | Collarbone | 2-4 weeks |
Aaron Naughton | Ankle | 5-7 weeks |
Bailey Smith | Concussion | Test |
Laitham Vandermeer | Concussion | Test |
Updated: Tuesday, July 7 |
Early prognosis
Jong cannot get any continuity after picking up yet another injury. He's the third Bulldog to go down in as many weeks with syndesmosis. Smith and Vandermeer will be touch and go after being concussed in round five, but the Bulldogs have been very cautious with how they manage that in recent times. Duryea was meant to be only a couple of weeks away but has encountered a setback. Lachie Hunter is available to play following his four-week suspension. The Bulldogs have brought their full list to Queensland so they'll have plenty of calls to make. - Jourdan Canil
