Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales & Events, you will be responsible for:
• Implementation of business development strategies to acquire new clients across all industry segments
• Overall achievement of annual revenue targets and net contribution KPIs
• Account management of corporate accounts to aid client retention
• Assisting the Head of Corporate Sales and Events, with innovation in new product development to diversify EFC’s product offers, in line with industry trends
• Playing a pivotal role in building and retaining profitable and respectful relationships with all external EFC corporate clients
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• Strategic, solution based approach to business development encompassing the full sales cycle from prospect research, warm and cold calling, appointment setting, proposal development, contract negotiations and closing
• A ‘hunter mentality’
• Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
• Ability to develop integral relationships with all clients, stakeholders and coteries
• Corporate hospitality/entertainment/sporting industry experience
• Strong understanding of budget processes
• Exceptional communication, organisational and presentation skills
• Capable of working a wide array of hours with a varying time schedule to suit the seasonal priorities of the football industry
