Adelaide will not have any current players competing in the SANFL league preliminary final on Sunday.

However, James Sellar and rookie Ed Curnow will be key players for Glenelg’s reserves team, which takes on the Eagles in the curtain-raiser at Adelaide Oval. The winner will advance to play Sturt in the reserves grand final on October 3.

There will be some Crows flavour in the league preliminary final between Glenelg and Sturt. Former Crows Matthew Bode and John Hinge are important players for the Tigers, as is AFC junior development officer Matthew Duldig.

Adelaide life member Ian Perrie will line up at centre half-forward for Sturt, which is captained by Ben Nelson, who played 12 games for the Crows after starting his AFL career with Carlton.

The winner of the league match will take on Central District in the grand final.
