WEST COAST made it 10 consecutive Western Derby wins with a 30-point victory over Fremantle in round seven.

Josh Kennedy celebrated game 250 in style, jagging four goals and winning the Glendinning-Allan Medal for best on ground, as the Eagles cruised to a 9.8 (62) to 5.2 (32) smashing.

For the first time ever in Derby history, one team was held scoreless for a quarter with the Eagles putting the result beyond doubt with a 2.3 to 0.0 third term.

West Coast's fourth win of the season was off the back of brilliant efforts in defence from Brad Sheppard (23 disposals), Jackson Nelson (23 disposals) and Liam Duggan (19 disposals).

Elliot Yeo (20 disposals and six tackles) and Tim Kelly (18 disposals and six tackles) were also important as they applied plenty of pressure around the ball.

The Dockers matched the Eagles around the contest in the early stages of the game, but West Coast went to another level in the second half.

Andrew Brayshaw stood tall again with 17 disposals and seven tackles, while Rory Lobb and Matt Taberner were dominant in the air at times for the Dockers.

Collingwood will be the next test for the Eagles next Sunday, while the Dockers will look to bounce back against the Cats in round eight.

Debutant Frederick shows no fear
All Michael Frederick wanted to do in his debut game was apply pressure and hit the scoreboard. The young wingman caught the eye early with his brilliant workrate and even out-marked Brad Sheppard in the air. The 20-year-old showed off his blistering pace in the second term and got Optus Stadium roaring with his first career goal.

West Coast is the scariest centre-bounce side in the League
The Eagles came into round seven averaging the most centre clearances in the League, but the Dockers did everything they could to stop that early in the game. The Eagles came to life with three goals in the space of 90 seconds, thanks to two deadly clearances courtesy of Elliot Yeo and Tim Kelly straight from the middle in the second quarter.

Taberner joins Riewoldt in horror moment
Fremantle forward Matthew Taberner gave the Eagles headaches early and looked on track for three first-quarter goals. After out-muscling Jeremy McGovern in the goalsquare, Taberner turned around to stroll in for an easy major before being mowed down out of nowhere by Tom Cole. It had Heath Shaw v Nick Riewoldt in the 2010 Grand Final written all over it, and the St Kilda champion was not keen to re-live the 'librarian' moment in the commentary box.
