A unique opportunity has arisen for an energetic and driven person to lead the Perth Football Club into its next era of success following the appointment of current CEO Brian Leys to the SANFL division of AFL club Port Adelaide.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall control and operation of the Perth Football Club Inc.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and maintaining an effective business model and strategic plan
- Financial management of the Football Club
- Development and management of all key revenue streams
- Establishing and maintaining sound relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Management of all statutory and corporate governance requirements
- Contribute to the marketing and branding of the Perth Football Club
The club is seeking a proven leader with outstanding commercial business acumen, and superior verbal and written communication skills.
The CEO will have a proven ability to connect with and build positive relationships with key stakeholders, whilst also demonstrating a positive and inclusive approach to managing the business. The ability to deal with and progress a broad range of issues will be a crucial success factor to this role.
It is desirable that the successful applicant has an understanding of the football industry, together with business experience in the key responsibilities.
