SYDNEY Swans forward Barry Hall is set to come under the AFL Match Review Panel's microscope again after an incident during the second quarter of Saturday night's game against Collingwood.
Hall appeared to swing his right arm at opponent Shane Wakelin's head in an off-the-ball incident midway through the second term.
Wakelin fell to the ground, but he immediately jumped back to his feet and followed Hall across the field.
The match was Hall's first at ANZ Stadium since he was suspended for seven weeks after punching West Coast's Brent Staker in round four.
The veteran Magpies defender said he couldn't recall exactly what had happened in the altercation.
"I had my eyes on the footy, we had a tangle of arms and that's about as much as I knew about it," he said.
"Some of the boys told me they saw it on the scoreboard afterwards, but I didn't even see it, so I'm not sure what happened. We'll have to see what happens on Monday night [at the Match Review Panel]."
When asked why he went to ground, Wakelin said he was simply doing his job by trying to attract the umpire's attention.
"You've got to try and milk the free kick whenever you can. I thought I'd give it a crack and unfortunately I didn't get one," he said.
Wakelin said his battle with Hall, a regular opponent over the years, was made significantly easier by the efforts of his teammates.
He conceded Hall had shown signs of frustration during the match, but he took little notice.
"We all get frustrated in a game of footy. I think I was as frustrated as what he was, but that happens."
