A BEST-ON-GROUND performance from Adelaide star Rory Sloane against Richmond on Sunday has seen him take the clear lead in AFL.com.au's Brownlow Medal predictor.
Meanwhile, revitalised West Coast defender Elliot Yeo has rocketed into surprise Brownlow contention.
Yeo sits third in the predictor, behind Port Adelaide hard nut Ollie Wines in second place.
Sloane racked up 33 disposals, 13 contested possessions, eight tackles and three goals in the Crows' 76-point win over the Tigers.
It was the third time this season the 27-year-old has picked up top votes after he also achieved the feat against Hawthorn and Port Adelaide, to take his tally to 12.
His stellar form has helped the Crows remain undefeated and on top of the ladder.

If the 2016 All Australian vice-captain took 'Charlie' home, it would make for the tantalising prospect on Brownlow night of former Crow Patrick Dangerfield presenting Sloane with the medal.
He was Crownbet's favourite for the award on Monday afternoon, at $4.25, just ahead of Dangerfield at $4.50.
Sloane is also leading the Coaches' Association Player of the Year Award by 11 votes.
Wines is currently in second place after round six on nine votes, with Yeo a vote behind.
Yeo was superb in the Eagles' Western Derby victory, collecting 32 disposals and 14 marks.
Team of the Week: Who made it in round six?
After being thrown all over the field last season, the former Lion has settled in the backline and been excellent at intercepting opposition forays forward.
An impressive pre-season has seen the 23-year-old average close to 25 disposals per match, on track to easily be a career-high. He is first in the competition for marks per game and seventh for contested marks per game.
The bookmaker had Yeo at $67 on Monday afternoon.
Reigning Brownlow medallist Dangerfiled is equal fourth with a host of players on seven votes after six rounds.
