The St Kilda Football Club is delighted with the seven players they have picked up in the 2011 NAB AFL National Draft held at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre on Thursday evening.

All Saints supporters will be thrilled to see Jason Blake re-drafted, giving the 30-year-old the opportunity to play his 200th game for the Club. To reposition the Club’s playing list, Blake was recently de-listed as a veteran listed player with a committment from both to be re-drafted during the 2011 National Draft.

A Veteran of 199-games for the Saints, Blake was first recruited as the number 24 draft pick in the 1999 AFL Draft from the Beaumaris Football Club.

These seven players, join Ahmed Saad and Terry Milera in becoming Saints for the 2012 season. Saad and Milera were traded from Greater Western Sydney during the 2011 Trade Week, exchanging the Club’s first round draft pick, number 20, under the establishment rules for new clubs.
