The Bendigo Bombers Football Club, which plays in the Victorian Football League, is seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic person to fill its newly created position of Football Manager.
A progressive, objective-orientated organisation with a strong commitment to developing and fostering young talent and team spirit, this club takes great pride in representing the City of Bendigo in Victoria’s premier football competition.
The club played finals in 2010 and is strongly committed to achieving its objective of getting deep into the 2011 finals series. Establishing a dedicated position of Football Manager is one of the steps being taken towards achieving that objective.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to become established in a progressive VFL club.
Basically, the Football Manager will be responsible for -
• Co-ordinating all off-field football activities to ensure all players and off-field staff are provided with maximum support to enable them to compete and perform at the highest possible level.
• Provision of support to the Club’s Executive and Board of Management members to ensure the efficient operation of the club.
The successful applicant must possess good communication and effective administrative skills and have the ability to work independently and efficiently with a minimum of direction, thereby making a positive contribution to the ongoing development of a cohesive and successful team environment.
