Maybe you’ve always wanted to know what an AFL footballer eats for breakfast, or what JK gets up to on his day off.
The only way to find out is by emailing Josh now!
Here are Josh's answers to this week's top questions:
G'day Josh, Stoked with the lads’ endeavour so far this year. So's my wife who says I spend less time moping around about the one that got away. Anyways, I noticed you mentioned Callum Wilson in one of your previous replies. To me, he seems to be a good lead up forward who forces the midfielders to put it into space and then he either clunks it or has a good turning circle to get back onto it. Reckon we might see him don the guernsey at AFL level for five or six in a row this year? With you pushing up to the centre square, Leca back and somewhere in between and Callum deep seems pretty potent up forward. Keep firing champ. Regards, Burnsy
Hey mate,
Yeah definitely, Callum is a great lead up player and a true full forward, so when he gets his chance I'm sure he will impress. He's a big strong body and really quick off the mark! It will be good to see him out there hopefully sometime this year!
Hey Josh, Firstly, well done on a great start to the season. It is so enjoyable to watch you guys really fighting games out to the end. My question is about on-field leadership. You see blokes at other clubs like Luke Hodge and Nick Riewoldt really vocal at crunch times in games. They rally the troops and throw out directions to younger players like who to man up on and where to run. Who are some of the more vocal on field leaders at the Eagles and how does that impact your game? Or is it you who is one of the more vocal?
Thanks, Liam
G’day Liam,
We all try to take on that leadership role in communicating to each other on the field and I try to give support where I can. The most vocal blokes are Sellers, Coxy, Glassy and Beauy. They all have clear direction when things are down, it helps so much when you have those blokes yelling out and directing things! That's why they are the leaders of the club!
JK! My whole family loved watching Suma when he was playing. What is he like as a coach? Love ya work! Greg
Yeah Suma is a great coach. He's able to understand players and deliver his message in a way that makes it easy for individual players. I get on with him great and he calls a spade a spade, so you will always get the honest truth with Suma which I think is good!
Hi Josh, Just wondering! What are you doing on your time off? The weather’s great up here and the ‘bus driver’ assures you will definitely catch some fish and prove you are not a bait chucker!! By the way, you are playing great football!
Cheers K and B Hayden, Exmouth
Haha I think I was bad luck last time!! But will definitely have to get up there again soon and catch some fish just like we were supposed to last time!! I loved Exmouth and will definitely get up there again!
Hi Josh, If you were in a grand final and the scores were level, which teammate would you trust to kick the winning goal outside 50? James
Hey mate,
Well for starters, I would love to take it!! But if it was well outside 50 it would be Lynchy for sure! Otherwise Shannon Hurn, but Lynchy would have more practice than Shannon!
